72 Film Fest is an annual 72-hour filmmaking competition produced by SilverVox, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization based in Frederick County, Maryland. Our website is https://www.72fest.com.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Email list sign-ups: name and email address
  • Team registrations: name, mailing address, and phone number, processed securely through our payment partner Stripe

We do not collect personal information from passive website visitors beyond what is gathered automatically by analytics tools (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Send you communications you have opted into (e.g., contest updates, announcements)
  • Process and manage your contest registration
  • Analyze aggregate website traffic to improve our event and website

4. Registrations and Payment Processing

Team registrations are processed through Stripe, Inc. When you register, your payment and contact information is transmitted securely to Stripe. 5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to collect aggregate, anonymized information about how visitors interact with our site. Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to distinguish visitors and sessions. The information collected includes:

  • General geographic region (not precise location)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Referring website

The 72 Film Fest is open to participants of all ages; however, our website and digital services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
